Sumitava Roy
RESEARCH SCHOLAR
Sumitava Roy is a PhD student in Maitra Lab. His primary area of research is to identify cellular and transcriptional heterogeneity within the Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) at single-cell resolution.

Esha Bhattacharjee
RESEARCH SCHOLAR
Esha Bhattacharjee is the PhD student in Maitra lab. Her research area focuses on the genomics of the maternal and child health, with a major interest in spontaneous preterm birth. She is also involved in the multiple ongoing studies in the maternal and child health.

Arunima Acharya
RESEARCH SCHOLAR
Arunima Acharya is a PhD student in Maitra Lab. Her research focuses on navigating the intricate landscape of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) to delineate the transcriptomic distinctions between OSCC associated with oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) and OSCC without the pre-malignant lesion to facilitate early triaging of high risk cases utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing. She is also involved in multiple ongoing projects on single cell transcriptomics.
