SUMITAVA ROY
Research Scholar
Sumitava Roy is a PhD student in the Maitra Lab. His primary area of research is to identify cellular and transcriptional heterogeneity within the Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) at single-cell resolution.

ESHA BHATTACHARJEE
Research Scholar
Esha Bhattacharjee is the PhD student in the Maitra lab. Her research area focuses on the genomics of the maternal and child health, with a major interest in spontaneous preterm birth. She is also involved in the multiple ongoing studies in the maternal and child health.

ARUNIMA ACHARYA
Research Scholar
Arunima Acharya is a PhD student in the Maitra Lab. Her research focuses on navigating the intricate landscape of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) to delineate the transcriptomic distinctions between OSCC associated with oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) and OSCC without the pre-malignant lesion to facilitate early triaging of high risk cases utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing. She is also involved in multiple ongoing projects on single cell transcriptomics.

Arpita Kabasi
Research Scholar
Arpita Kabasi is a PhD student at the Maitra Lab. Her primary focus is on understanding oncofetal reprogramming in the tumour ecosystem of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC).

Samridhi Singh
Research Scholar
Samridhi Singh is an i3c BRIC DBT JRF at the Maitra Lab. She is exploring cancer genomics, chemoresistance, and innovative cancer therapies—combining advanced research in biomedical genomics with a focus on understanding and overcoming key challenges in cancer treatment.

SAHANA GHOSH
Senior Data Analyst
Sahana Ghosh is a Senior Data Analyst at the Maitra Lab. Her primary focus is on the development of 'de novo' tools and pipelines to decode genomic data efficiently. Her research in computational oncology involves integrating multi-omics data to understand the pathogenesis and prognosis of oral cancer.
